I honestly love Platinum games, but it's depressing they don't sell all that well.
I don't think even Nier: Automata sold that good, although it was lacking something in the gameplay/combat department.

It'll be a long while before it gets topped, I completely agree. The only other OST I can think of that's better is all of the Initial D stages, but that's anime of course. Game wise I can think of other games with tracks I like (Stella Glow, Shantae, Freedom Force, TWEWY, to name a few), but I can't think of any games where I like pretty much every single song on the OST.

I also liked the soundtracks of Command and Conquer, Gitaroo Man and Disgaea.

Max Anarchy's OST tops it just because of sheer variety. MGR has some fucking great boss themes, but those are the only tracks that are really remembered from the game, so you get like a dozen songs that are like 2 minutes each. Max Anarchy has like 3 times that, and about 80% of them are fucking great.
