>inactive party members don't get exp
why should they?
>inactive party members get matched to your level when you are forced to use them exclusively so you have to sit there and level them up but their equipment is shit-tier so you can't proceed anyway
>>376593285
who cares
it's highly inconvenient
>>376593087
That's only a bad thing when the game forces you to use people you don't like.
>>376593285
because otherwise you're forced to use a static team or have to waste time getting your inactive characters up to par
>If the character's level is lower than intended for the area, he gets bonus exp so he can catch up faster
>>376593326
If you aren't rolling in excess gear by that point then you're playing the game wrong.
>all party members get exp
>their exp gain/requirements are all completely different
>one of the party members gets an exp boost
>only works on him unless you jump through hoops to equip it on everyone
fucking xenoblade chronicles
>Fixed this shit in P5 with best boy's confidant
Thank you based Mishima.
Literally why I can't replay Persona Q.
There are like 20 Party members so I feel like I can't stick to a static team, but Im gonna go through the trouble of grinding others up.
Even worse the MC is always in your team so even if you did he'd be way overleveled compared to everyone else.
