I sure do love pressing the triggers every other time I put the controller on my lap, regardless of how gently it's laid down. DS3 is something of an underrated controller but those triggers were just too sensitive. Even if you favor the notion of analog shoulder buttons they still feel too finicky for even that and Gamecube's felt much better. I experienced this feeling recently while playing BOTW during the first Lynel fight on Ploymus Mountain/near Zoras Domain. The main problem with NNs is the long training time, expensive computation (also memory intensive) and hard to predict behavior.

Spelunky is primarily about memorization about enemy and trap patterns, how they attack, as well as what is best needed to get by them. Beyond that it's reflexes to deal with them in a timely manner. I'll agree it requires more twitch reflexes than Dark Souls. It also is a lot of RNG though. It's hard to compare the two directly when RNG is such a huge factor.
