Bayonetta only stutters if you have some overlay on like Steam Overlay, Windows 10 Xbox Overlay or MSI afterburner overlay. I've played the game all the way to the 4th level with no stutter whatsoever, locked at 60fps at all times.

Its a fast fun shooter, almost arcade like, I can already see people saying "this was what people considered good?" since its only about 3 hours long, it is very short by todays standards. I will bet money that people are going to be dissapointed, considering nowadays games have to be about 40+ hours long to be considered a game. Vanquish was good, but there wasnt much too it, its one of those "play for a few days then forget" kind of games, the game being 60FPS and better res wont change how short the game is. Steam overlay at Steam settings.
Windows 10 Game bar overlay: "Record game clips, screenshots and broadcasts using Game Bar" set to Off
MSI Afterburner overlay: "Show on-screen display" set to off and "On-screen display support" set to off as well.

They cause stuttering, performance loss and crashing in some games. MSI Afterburner overlay uses some CPU, so if you're CPU bound, the fps can take a hit.

I just disable every single overlay in all games because i know overlays always mean trouble, no matter how cool they look.

As in make flick of the wrist super fast shots from one side of the screen to the other? Which was impossible to do with sticks.

How would that impact the game's difficulty?
Still super cool though. Bayonetta didn't have Denuvo did it? If Vanquish doesn't either I'll probably get it on launch.

It's easier to port a game than it is to make a new game. Plus when 360/ps3 games didn't have extremely similar architectures to PCs so it was harder to make a port then than it is now, since they're essentially just rebranded PCs.

It was a derogatory statement, the "extras" its referring to is different difficulties(have to unlock the last one) and "challenge mode" which involves repeating the same levels against different enemies of the respective stage, there are 5, 6 has to be unlocked by completing them all if I remember correct. This is a very misleading tally, theres not another 8 hours of new content that isnt in the main story, its repeating the same 4 hours of content youve already played. Alot of people arent going to even bother playing the game on every difficulty just to say they have.

DO NOT go into this expecting a long game, dont try to trick people, the game is great but its like an arcade shooter, dont expect to be playing it for weeks. Get it when its cheaper, or if you are simply strapped for a game to play because it is a good game, its just short.
