It's pretty terrible and buggy. Also one of the most derivative games ive ever played. It's like they tried taking elements from NG, Shinobi, God of war and DMC and tried throwing them into a glitchy blender. Also QTE out the ass. Cutscenes are pretty cuhrayzee tho.

It's good and you should still play it. The core mechanic revolves around Hotsuma's demon sword which drains your health if you don't damage an enemy within a certain time limit. It makes stages fast paced and tense.

It's more like a linear puzzle game than a Tenchu game.

Fuck i'd kill for something like Tenchu Z on PC with modding support.

Just a good, basic, sandbox Tenchu game that people can expand and build on.

One of the most fun games I've ever played on PS2. I think its in my top 5 games of all time actually.
I have yet to see another modern game use dashes and the after images the way they did in this game. I'm really dying for another hack 'n' slash game like this. Nothing like pulling off a perfect tate combo, or powering up your sword for a big ass attack, especially on that final boss. Fuck those paper talismen.
