Yes, I stopped playing it a long time ago. It's extremely one dimensional where every top tier character just wants to get in an lock the opponent down, differing only in their flowchart order of operations.

It was a good time, they just waited too long to release Kombat Pack 2 that I'm positive people that previously owned the game probably aren't aware of its existence

Probably because everyone was waiting for Kombat pack 3 and the hype for the game died when it did. Got injustce 2 pre-orded and I'm ready to main le joker and mr freeze captain cold

I want to play the story mode but I don't want to buy the game because I wont play it past that.

I stopped playing it. I just do the premier tower each week for the kard bonuses but other than that I got tired of it. Still a good game tho.
