Don't bother with specializing into any one stat, follow the path of the cosmic purification octuple equilibrium for maximum brouzouf. You aren't better enough at what you specialize in to make up for not being able to do the things you didn't invest in at all. Stop leveling a stat when the cost increases beyond one skill point, accumulate fatal wounds to reduce the cost again. Spending skill points and bonuses from research contribute to the thresholds, but cybertech doesn't, so upgrade that if you need to increase your stats beyond the threshold for things like lategame weapons. Never put any points into mental balance, there are researches that make you immune to madness so the stat is a complete waste.
