Frost.

Instant freeze anytime a Bursa or other hard enemy shows up. A line aoe to kill and slow everything. A sphere shield for you and your party that can freeze anything that walks in if you want. And a fuck you everything dies around me skill.

Just a good toolset all around before you've even got to the weapons.

I find it hard to use anyone but Inaros anymore. It's just throwing sand and backstabbing, but when I try to use anyone else, I realize I miss throwing sand.

post frame ideas

Tonk the Grineer theme explosives-oriented frame. Flavor text blurb something about a grineer attempt to build upon a dead/heavily damaged warframe they found and strap on a bunch of armor and weapons. Basically it looks like Grineer armor.

1: Grenade Jump (instant) tonk throws a grenade at his feet and grenade jumps three times as high as a tonkor grenade jump takes you (you go where you're aiming at, if you aim straight down, you go straight up), perform a heavy impact with equivalent damage of the explosion that launched you; scales with power str; duration/range have no effect
2: Propaganda Drone (instant summon, limited duration); pops out of his backpack and hovers above tonk granting ROF and armor buffs and mild health regen to teammates in range. scales with str, range, eff, dur
3: Rocket uppercut (instant); little elbow rocket thing fires, and you can strike a single target for extreme damage at close range; you don't have to be "right up" to the, there's some range which you can be within which will allow you to "close in" to that enemy; which will NOT scale with range mods; but will be like 5 meters or something; otherwise if you're out of range you just can't cast it. If it doesn't kill them, it'll at least send them flying pretty damn far (blast damage; which scales with blast damage on ANY WEAPON YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING)
4: Exalted Tonkor (channeled) Tonk summons a spectral tonkor that does some base damage and whatever, but more importantly scales off of power strength and mods on your primary weapon (even if it isn't a tonkor), the summoned tonkor inherits all weapon mods (i.e. multishot, firestorm, elementals) and does not need to be reloaded, and does not consume ammunition. If your primary weapon happens to be a tonkor, you will dual wield your tonkor and the spectral tonkor and fire both simultaneously; neither consuming ammo or needing to be reloaded. (with your physical tonkor also getting the spectral one's boosted stats)

You know, they haven't made a frame quest for Steel Meridian (and Arbiters of Hexis) yet so I don't think you need to do something like that. Also a Grineer rebuilt Warframe is still going to be directed by a potato, otherwise it would be an unshackled technocyte and that's how Derp Sector begins.

Just have Steel Meridian's quest frame be a mechanical engineer themed frame designed during the onset of the actual Old War when Grineer were first repurposed for soldier fodder from laborers and have it be a sort of Grineer command frame with cool construction themed shit and a Grineer aesthetic. Any frame can enter it with a max level cyst and any frame can then talk to Helminth after you first build Nidus and engage it. And you certainly must already know but for posterity your operator can also enter if you park a frame that can open the door in the doorway and they can talk to Helminth too if you've already done it once with Nidus.

Anyway most people imagine it's going to have something to do with the new focus system after that shit is reworked. Helminth might be able to offer you some different shit than the somatic chair or a respec if the new system is more confining than the current one.

Personally I hope it offers us instead more interaction between Operator and Warframe. Like have Helminth coordinate communication with our frame's nascent technocyst mind. Because they really haven't done much with the Warframes since the Second Dream when it appears to move without the Operator's help in order to repel Hunhow and save the Operator. And to be quite honest I really didn't join this game to play as a fucking potato puppeteering armor, I joined the game to play as a fucking cool robot dude. So expanding on the relationship between Operator and Warframe would be just great.

Devs nerfed a bunch a frames because some autists complained that their favorite frame wasn't ideal in all situations (which is dumb in the first place). So instead of buffing up the shit frames, DE heavily nerfed many of the good ones while simultaneously introducing some of the grindiest new shit ever in the game. And the community praised them to high heavens for it.

Pure Humanity is anyone low caste in the old Orokin Empire. Basically everyone living on the colonies being exploited by Grineer or Corpus are regular old Humans. Some of the Corpus are most likely regular Humans, the elite are mostly from an Orokin middle class that was probably heavily gene modified and they continue to modify themselves with their current level of technology. The basic dregs of Corpus structure are probably modified somehow to facilitate obedience but it's not clear how far that goes.

Part of Loka's quest is about trying to make them seem a little more relatable. Probably because any interaction with them prior to that pretty much made them seem not very friendly. In the end you convince your New Loka confidant, Amaryn, that things they've dubbed impure are still saving Earth and are worth protecting and she smooths things out with the council.
They were even willing to accept Grineer in the past during the resolution of Operation Raathum, after putting them through a "cleansing" ritual which I'm guessing involved a lot of waterboarding.

Only guns that really get close to melee damage output are shotguns, by the time you shoot, reload, readjust aim and shoot again you could've cleared the entire room with your melee.

To all but a select few characters, a "Tenno" is some sort of mystery in a super suit. Most characters think Tenno are recluses wearing armor or "tin suits".
Technically, to the few characters in the know, Lotus, Hunhow, Teshin, Stalker, and a few others, a "Tenno" is the union of Warframe and Operator. The Warframes are "tamed" beasts and the Operators are potato batteries. They haven't done anything with it yet but the scene near the end of the Second Dream and some of the lore fragments pertaining to the infested nature of the Warframes implies that the frames themselves are still sentient technocyte that has been coerced, or became sentient after exposure to the Operator's dreams over the somatic link, but obey the Operator's will.

Their Queens have known from the start what a Tenno is, Vor is high on so many layers of void he understands that potatoes aren't even real, man, the rank and file Grineer have no idea what is going on and report everything they don't understand to Vor or Tyl anyway, Tyl doesn't give two shits about Tenno he just loves tubes.

The Corpus don't care. Salad Five already realized there is nothing inside a Warframe except for techno organic goop and if you try to tell a Corpus elite about how you saw a void portal open up in a Warframe's chest and a fucking kid ran out of it and shot at you with lasers from its hands and eyes you would be fucking executed for blasphemy against the Void.

My only issue with it is that they still yet to explain the Warframes period. We know more about the fucking Tenno then the Warframes and what exactly goes behind making them in the first place. Then again at this point they would also need to explain how the fuck we can even MAKE more Warframes and the like in the first place, more less how multiple copy's of the same Warframe are valid.

There's little bits in the game where everything you need to know about Warframe construction is mentioned. They subdue technocyte, they shape it and meld it with special alloys, and you've got a Warframe. You hook up a somatic link and anyone can use it, although if they don't have infinite magical void energies like a Tenno operator then they will eventually disconnect from their body forever and become trapped in the link ala Stalker.

in addition to what the other anons have said, see if you can get a pal to join you. It's a lot better than having to rely on the RNG that is public matchmaking and then you can get some 'frame synergies going (ie the good 'ol "okay, who wants to be healer?"). That, and building a clan dojo from scratch will give you something to do.
