Nah I don't think so. I've put 70 or 80 hours in myself but I just run around playing random minigames and trying to 100% the characters at a lenient pace. I'll replay it somewhere down the line but I don't like grinding in games as wide as this one. I think I have around 60 or 70% completion right now.

I feel you bro. I got fucking chills like you wouldn't understand. After being so jaded by tired kiryu in Yakuza 5, Yakuza 0 has reignited a hype fot gaming i have not felt in so long. It was so obvious they wanted to give Yakuza 0 a feel related to the orginal, then "recive you" started playing at the end and i was like pic related:

Dance. Don't forget about Kiwami releasing August 29 for $30 with a steelbook edition. Granted, it's like that since it's basically a 0 mod with less content.

Didnt play 0 yet but im going through 5 right now (bought it day 1 but I travelled a lot and moved across the fucking world before I could resume play.)
God 5 is down there for me with 3. Its so slow and restrictive. I wanted to go play koikoi and mahjong straight up but I cant cause reasons. Im at the shinada baseball dude, hes broke as fuck so I cant do shit. Akiyama was a broke ass bitch too so I cant do anything.
The content in 5 seems SUPER restricted until you get to the Final chapter (which I assume all characters reunite, pool money and lets do our final missions.)
How is 0 getting out of this stagnation?
Also im glad 0 exist. Talked about it with my friends since 1 came out.

Saying something's better than 6 ain't saying much, Kiwami is literally every bad thing about Zero amplified, only good thing is the instant style switching. Newfags will most likely lose interest after Kiwami and that's a good thing, no one should buy 6.

Bought this game on a whim (at the time I hadnt played any of them) and beat it in two or three days. Then proceded to go buy a used PS3 and buy 4 and 5.

God tier fucking series. I really wish everyone knew about it. Its charming as fuck and more people would like it if they just tried it and got over the whole "no dub" thing.

You never have to learn how to play Shogi in any of the games. There's either the challenge trick (Where a challenge win = a win for the counter) or you just use the simulator to beat normal games, otherwise I hope you're good at a really odd version of chess with tons more rules and pieces that you can barely make out.

Mahjong takes a bit to learn but once it clicks it's very fun. I spent like six hours on Y2 learning it seething with anger and hatred but in 4 I was completely confident and managed to get the 50k requirement after like an hour which felt fantastic. Just do your best to do 4 x 3 and a 2, you don't need to go for fancy tile hands. Just pay attention to the opponent's discards and don't go for something in a hand that requires something that has more than one discard already and be careful when you discard while someone has a Riichi and pay attention to their discards. Also, press square after every turn to see if you can call Riichi, it helps so much. There's no better feeling than getting a Riichi into a Tsumo the next turn, or a Ron off a guy in first place on the final turn to throw yourself into first place.

Everything was ok until that part. The Y0 chinese shit wasn't the focus as much in Y2. Also Majima turned out to be not as crazy starting from 4, secondary
