I've already played every Metal Gear game for lots of time, trying something new now. And I'm ok with open world games.

It takes some time until you unlock all the core shit. I had a fun time, but was prepared to write it off in the first 40 hours. Once you understand how everything ties together and you start getting some GEAR it's much more fun and dare I say GOAT

I don't know where you are getting the Portable Ops from, but the game never gets any better. It's a boring slog from beginning to end.
