The xenoblade series is fated to being those games everybody hears are great, but very few actualy go out of their way to give it a shot.

Xenoblade was in the top 5 of my favorite games, XCX not so much. I'll probably buy a switch solely for this game, but there is simply nothing to talk about so how are you even supposed to express "hype"?

What's wrong with his design? I really don't see anything wrong with it. I really fucking don't. He looks about as good as a Nintendo mascot character.

Nice blue colour scheme. Cool helmet on his back. Sweet little pouch on his lower back. Sick grappling hook. Cool steel leg attire.

I would argue this is the least offensive JRPG character design in a long while. Dude just looks like a guy geared up for adventure leaving his hometown.

It's impossible to be too excited because we have so little to go off of. Just a single gameplay trailer that doesn't even show much aside from "look how expansive the world is, also you can ride tigers", and that the music is gonna be good, which fans of Xenoblade would already be expecting, but we've still heard nothing aside from an underwhelming trailer theme. This is coming from a huge Xenoblade fag, and I look forward to when we get more info/gameplay, but I wouldn't call it hype just yet.

This. Xenoblade Chronicles did not need a sequel. It was a self contained story. XCX ended on a damn cliffhanger with no answers. Hell, it ended by introducing new mysteries.
