I had no qualms about the game. I really enjoyed it for what it was, which was a solid metroidvania style game with some fresh abilities and weapons. Also a giant snail fast travel.

Terrible weapons. Stopped after I found the third and it was also retarded

I thought it was a pretty decent game. Worth the run i gave it. Nothing earth shattering. i had fun, and once you realise the monsters are deformed versions of yourself they actually creeped me out a bit.

Everything about the game was solid, my only gripe was the boss fights were trash.
Aside from that this is tied with ori for my favorite metroid of the last decade.

They are kinda fun to play with, though.
My favorites were the seeker, the laser (ion beam or something like that), and the flamethrower. I think overall I probably used 1/3 of all of them throughout the game, which is a lot considering there are more than 20 of them. A lot of them have only one real use, like the one that branches a million times and hits almost everything on the screen, but does very little damage.
