is Pokemon Colosseum good? and is this a good sequel (if it is)? I've never played any of them, but I remember looking at Colosseum in a game store thinking it looked pretty cool when I was younger

Yes both are fantastic.
I personally prefer Colosseum because it's the only time where you pretty much play as someone from the evil team that decides to become clean.

GoD has overall more content but a weaker plot and main character

They play less like pokemon and more like jrpg with pokemon flavor. I'm not a huge fan because the entire idea of shadow pokemon entails heavy grinding. Plus the game is easy enough where you can roll through the entire game with the starter Espeon in Colosseum, and a fucking Teddiursa in XD.
