The variety of angles to come at your objective, the amount of variety in loadouts, the ability to turn off reflex and try the hardest missions using only the grade 1 tranq and magazines.

That's not even touching the AI calling you on your shit and adapting if you spam the same methods, your buddies that give you even more options to work with, and the fact that the game is built around experimenting and trying new things.

4 has a great first three hours if you skip all the cutscenes, then everything takes a dive from Act 3 to the finale gameplay wise.

Regardless of how you feel about either story, I actually think 4 has much higher highs than V as well as much lower lows, comparing the gameplay and trying to say 4 is objectively better is fucking silly.
