Better taste in what? Dungeon design? Games in general? First off taste is subjective, but you knew that already, blah blah no it's not.

I don't really play Persona games for excellently designed dungeons. I don't expect procedurally-generated dungeons to have groundbreaking design either. I run through them to find the next set of stairs and do decently fun turn-based battles. I don't play dungeon-crawling games in general, so if you want to say you have more refined taste in the genre, then that's cool. Curious, but what game has your favorite dungeons in them?

If you're talking about the latter, then that's another can of worms about what makes a great game. Maybe you don't like P4G because you don't think its gameplay portions are that great, or you don't care about the characters and the optimistic tone, I dunno dude. Maybe loving P4G isn't having good taste in dungeon crawlers, but good taste in storytelling.

Make sure to keep it on firmware 3.60. You can't play any games that require higher firmware, but you get a good emulation machine (once they're further developed) and the ability to use USB storage instead of having to sell your arm for the stupid proprietary memory cards.
