Why didn't ezio kill him when he had the chance?
>>376522423
Because Borgia was the Pope and he'd turn into a martyr
AND I'M JAVERT
>>376522423
this guy has a boss theme iirc
but most wouldn't know that because the shitty notorious music overrides it
>>376522663
I remember it not playing at all in the 360 version.
>>376522760
Had 360 version
Can canfirm

Also, Ezio fucked up.
>>376522423
"If you kill them they win"
Don't forget the game was made by Canadians
Borgia wasn't even close to the worst Pope, why did they choose him over the others.
>>376523115
Because The Borgias and Borgia Family were on TV back then.
Why didn't Ezio fuck her?
>>376523427
Used goods.
>>376523008
>>376522663
If this is the theme it's not great
Kyd has way better tracks in AC, it's a damn gold mine
>>376523181
That's retarded. They couldn't have possible known that when they started development. It's almost certainly because of the large amount of assassinated people gave them a large breath of targets for game play.
>>376522423
Two reasons
-Novel-wise, the pope had tried to killed himself with poison, but eventually survived and escaped
-Ezio wanted him to suffer as the loser, which is a pretty shitty thing given that he was present at the Monteregionni siege.
>>376522423
>killing the pope
>>376523427
>ywn cuck her brother
>>376522423
I always remember the way AC2 started.
>It is a good life we lead brother
>"The best"
>May it never change
>"And may it never change us"
Then the kickass music hits. Not only was it an amazing way to start the game, but at the time I genuinely hadn't played much that really captured that cinematic feel quite so well. It felt pretty special and even going back to it now it does.
>>376523427
Better question is why didn't Ezio ever take a shit? Was he a robot?
>>376524017
And now they use Ezio's Family for everything.
Every AC game after this feels like the villains got weaker, Borgia was pretty great.
>>376524219
They do? I thought his saga had ended in Brotherhood
>>376524339
Last one I remember with him was Revelations (which was a pretty forgettable game in itself but gave a nice ending for Ezio).
>>376523115
Who was a worse pope?
>>376524447
Oh yeah thats the one, I mixed it up with Brotherhood for some reason, after it I think each game followed its own MC with either no call back or at least just some small bit of info about the odl great assassins

>revelations
>forgettable
>hookblade
>that atmosphere
>altair sections
>the best ending in a AC game
>ends with ezio going into retirement
>marries a girl 30 years younger than him
ezio had a mostly good life
>>376524730
That because teh theme is good not because of the character itself
>>376524980
>decide to make a new theme for the series
>it flops
>"just use Ezio's Family again, everyone loves it!"

The only bits I actually remember from that game is the beginning, the altair bits, the cavern city near the end, the chariot bit at the end, and the, admittedly, fucking masterful ending scene at Masyaf.
The whole meat of the game in Istanbul is just a blur of nothing missions. It is pretty and atmospheric though.
