I see people tout this every time as a benefit of PC gaming. But they all seem to forget that mods don't grow on trees.
When was the last time any game where developers didn't explicitly provide tools/documentation (XCOM 2, Fallout 4, etc.) was modded in any MEANINGFUL way?
At the very MOST a small handful of the most popular AA or AAA games might get a 4k resolution hack, or a texture upscale. Which only people with very high-end computers will really benefit from anyways.
