I love it but in bursts, the game can wear on you if you start getting obsessive, but it doesn't stress me as much as dota does(t. 3.5k hours of that game and over 200 usd spent on cosmetics). by the time I'm getting tilted from hots I've played double digit games, dota 2 will fuck me up before the first is even finished and I'll maybe get 3 matches done in one day either because of that or how fucking long they are, while I could've easily done 12 or more hots matches like it's nothing. There is nothing actually wrong with the game itself unless you have a burning hatred for fun little casual team games but it's just forcing overwatch players to play it to get some shitty skins. They pulled the same shit with WoW where you had to play hots for awhile to get some mount and pet and wow players were a little upset.

It's ok, but not nearly as polished as Dota. It feels cheap. Certain sound effects just aren't right, like Sylvanas' bow. Capture bar animations need to be smoothed out, just little things really. But then a lot of things are really nice like the animations on the Terran buildings on the Starcraft maps. So overall it's alright but it could be better.

I really didn't like this game back then, but 2.0 made it a lot better and far less jewish too.

Only issue I have with it is how much more reliant you are on your team. In other games like Dota or HoN I can just get myself a few levels above all others, get myself fat and fed and then dominate with ease.

Due to how XP works in this game and how objective and team brawling focused it is, the game has a lot less "solo carry" potential to some degree.

That's the best thing about HotS, it extremely cuts down on having to suffer through having a shit ass retard on your team because not only is a game of HotS already short, it becomes even shorter because you lose faster. It ends fast enough before you can actually get really mad.

I'm not just not fan of the yet another price voice.

It's a fun game, but it's getting into the League of Legends problem where there's too much mobility. Every Overwatch hero can attack while moving, putting them at an immediate advantage. Genji's dash moves him a screen away from his enemies.

We need more anti-mobility heroes like Dehaka. Someone centered around rooting enemies. You know, someone like a magical ice lich who freezes enemies but I can't think of anyone from a Blizzard game who does that.

Don't not take the healing spec. It may not be a lot of healing, but if you don't take it, your host will never survive a real fight. Even if you just lick their wounds after escaping a fight, it keeps them strong.

Most mages and assassins will kill someone in a combo. The issue is supports are massively stronger and since you can't stack items, everyone's health is a lot more balanced, so you have to perfectly execute to get a kill. Rewind Zeratul can straight up one shot anyone even through healing, though.

Honestly I really like it. No buying items, no 20 minutes of tacked-on killing little shitty AI units, just straight to some mild leveling and ganks. Also more than one fucking map. I don't understand how you can play 2-5k fucking hours on one fucking map in League or Dota without killing yourself.

Only problem is that you don't get individual XP, so basically you feel like you're on a good team, but you're never a good player. And although it's probably a gameplay feature of all assfaggots, there is literally nothing fun about walking to an objective only to find some assassin type character just mash QWE and instantly kill you.

The map in dota is what makes the game
actually. All these different maps and tacked on shit for "juking" like brushes in HotS seems completely uneeded since people group up and fight around objectives anyways. Fights in Dota are completely chaotic and usually are a lot more unexpected. When you have heroes that can swing the game extra hard on both sides everything is unpredictable. HotS is a fun brawl but I'm completely missing that other aspect of a complete clusterfuck and clutch recoveries I enjoy in Dota.

You don't, because they refuse to give him any substantial changes. They even "reworked" him, and his "rework" was fucking GARBAGE compared to, as an example, what Alarak and Tyrande just got.

The most optimal way to build and play him is via his Lazor talents, but the problem is that Probius is just a MUCH MUCH better Lazor build Gazlowe. His turrets mean jack fucking shit, his Grav-O is so easily escaped with all the mobility in this game now, it's only good against heavy frontlines, Robo-Goblin is pretty decent now, but the rest of his kit just isn't even after taking Robo.

Overall though, understand that he isn't meant to melee attack anybody unless he has Robo-Goblin, and only after CC and AoE have gone out. His turrets are his real auto-attacks, and the bulk of his damage. Problem is they're so fucking squishy and can only consistently damage melee AAers, when AAers are already shit all over in this game, so there's no reason there should be enough of them to warrant taking Gazlowe.

He's Xul but without any mana costs, an 8 second cooldown all game, tons of vision, tons of survivability and better objective/solo killing ability. The only downside is that Xul can gank twice as often. You have to assign someone to lane against him all game or he's just going to steamroll you.
