After like 6 years of not playing, I almost want to resub.
The only real alternative is FFXIV which I'll probably resub to once expansion hits.

Private servers anon. No sane person still plays retail.

Are kimd of restrictive. Cant wear top of the line gear, but you dont really need it if you're just casually playing. And character flair stuff is locked as well, no titles or legacy titles. Endgame ia non existent for F2P. But if you make it there then you've probably subbed. PVE is slowing down, PvP is active and RP is only on Ebon Hawk, but its great RP if you know where to look.
