I got gifted it from a group of mates who wanted to play it.

Sunk about 40 hours into it and it's pretty fun, especially when you reach the top 20 and the zone is closing in.

I think it's probably the most polished early access game I've played but the bar wasn't set too high there.

There's nothing to discuss gameplay-wise.

Dumb fun, worth picking up if you're into the survival games but want something with more PvP focus and a faster pace.

Horribly overpriced.

Not as much fun without friends.

Servers are shitty.

Winning can be very RNG-based with who gets the playzone at the end.

Vehicles are broke. Collisons elastic band every time, bikes and buggies flip constantly from practically nothing.

There are a number of other smaller bugs which are annoying. Unuseable items, unreloadable shotguns.

The geometry can be very annoying too. Blinds on windows aren't destructible, so you can't shoot out of a lot of windows easily, for instance.


Apart from that, it's a pretty good game. Probably the best king of the hill so far when compared to stuff like H1Z1 and The Culling.

Actually played this last week for 2 hours before I got my refund.

- Unoptimized piece of shit that will run like garbage no matter what you have for setting
- Servers that shit themselves all the time
- If you want to get a good ranking you have find a good gun and camp
- You can also get to the magnetic zone and tank the damage with several bandages and painkillers like I did while the other guy died from it (rank one on my final game) instead of forcing to fight each other
- Loot crate have nothing fun
- EA
- Melee weapons are useless when majority of the stuff you find are guns
- Grenades arc throw is pretty
- Gas system on the cars should be reworked
- Not enough tools to get campers with a brain
- 30 bucks
- Island too big
+ Nice idea
+ Jumping out of the plane is fun

What you do is get a car, drive to a house in the middle of the circle, get out and camp in the house in thirdperson until you're forced to leave

Then you drive to the center of the new circle and rinses repeat. This is what the top leaderboard players do in this game, it's the optimal way to play. It's also horrifically boring compared to a game that has exclusively first person camera.

This only works until the circle has shrunk about 3 times, after that you take severe damage and cannot tank it anymore and die off in a couple of seconds.

Like every other EA game on Steam? It's not really something new, it is to be expected that devs are shit in this day and age. I agree though, sucks but that is something you should've taken into account when spending your money on this game. Besides, I get decent frames when I've landed. The spawn + plane always lags though.

Got about 150 hours in it. Pretty fun game. Has some problems, but the devs have been pretty good at getting patches out so far so i have a bit of hope. Won't be surprised if it ends up getting dropped like so many early access games have been though. Play it with friends for good times all around.
