Very yes.
The more you keep shilling it the less we will like it.
halibut
sheep's cheese
tomatoes
RPG for retards that want to pass as "expert" rpg players
Smart people play Obsidian games instead

I really enjoyed how they changed her voice in the do-over
Man I haven't eaten all day. Think I should get a burger or a panini?
>>376500272I didnt like any of the changesespecially SHE BIT ME IN THE FACE
>>376500290
Not in the mood for cheese?
>>376500329
Cheese is okay as long as it doesn't kill what you're eating
Are Larian the coolest devs on the planet?
>>376500192
try posting this on /tg/
Dev try to make a multiplayer mode that isn't overused and you still complain.
Never change, /v/
>>376500394
>>376500575
Thats the face I imagine him making when somebody says their favourite dev isn't Bethesda.
>>376500259
Ahh my bad dude. Please remember to remind us of new Divinity: Original Sin 2™ by making new thread 2 hours from now, just like you did 5 times already.
>>376500841
yeah, why the fuck would anyone make threads about highly anticipated games after new information is shown? must be shills!
>>376500895
There is only 1 thread in the catalog, and its from 20 hours ago.
>>376500951
meant for >>376500841
>importing the older Divine Divinities into DivOS2
New opportunities for people to shit on Beyond Divinity!
>>376500895
Honestly any sane person should understand that shilling threads - if they even are a thing - must represent like 5% of total threads made about a new game
My guess is people call shill just to piss off the OP and don't believe it themselves 90% of the time, then OP complains and then yada yada
>>376500439
nice , so you see real RPers like it.
Looks great, first game was the most fun I've had in a co-op experience pretty much ever and I'm sure this will be better.
I just hope this super long beta test branch doesn't turn down the hype so people play this and make actual content for it, I'd love to see full campaigns like the way people make entirely new games in oblivion.
>>376501080
how does coop work ive never tried it. Can I do couch multiplayer?
>>376501285
yes you can do split screen couch co-op
Why even reply to people who call peoplr shills?
They are just sad no life losers that sit on /v/ all day everyday calling people shills. It is the only life they have, they don't do anything else other than spend all day here screaming shill in every thread they go in.
>>376501439
What if the people calling shill are just from rival companies?
>>376499987
What's this? A throwback to pre-7th gen times? I'm all for it.
>>376501580
We all know it is just a bunch of no life faggots.
Gamespot did a playthrough of a custom dungeon master campaign.

>>376499987
That's pretty interesting, too bad the game si boring as fuck
>>376502606
this guy was too stupid to figure out the battle system lol
>>376499987
>recreates DivDiv
I got so hyped before realizing it was just a tiny piece done as example. Damn. I really love DivDiv.
Still, they did far better with this tool than I anticipated. I'm still probably never going to use it, but at least its serviceable and looksfun.
I loved all Divinity games (Beyond Divinity is basically just the same as DD, no idea why people dislike it so much)
Will I like D:OS? I'm also a faggot who doesn't really roleplay at all in RPGs, so I'll probably just use the dialog choice system to give my characters whatever attributes are the best instead of actually roleplaying them having a disagreement
>>376503343
Yes.
>>376503528
Coolio
I see people complain about the writing all the itme, I assume that means they hadn't played a Divinity game before and didn't expect it to have amazing jokes based on RPG tropes at every corner?
Can somebody tell me about the couch coop? Is it there and is it worthwhile?
>>376503592
>I see people complain about the writing all the time
/v/ does this with every RPG. People like to pretend they are professional writers and know better than the people who actually are.
Never listen to retards on /v/ complaining about 'muh writing'. If anything you should she it a sign that the writing is good.
>>376503343
>Beyond Divinity is basically just the same as DD, no idea why people dislike it so much
The skill system ruined it for me. It made me hate the combat, and so things like the battleground just began big, long stretches of nofun for me.
With that said, for a quick cash-grab game reusing DivDiv assets, BD ran with some neat ideas like how you learn the alien language (and how the books in that language slowly replace with words you can understand), and the lore/twist was great.
>Will I like D:OS?
I don't see why not. It has great combat, and if you don't mind BD's storytelling or DC's style of characters (albiet without their fantastic and memorable personalities), then there's no downsides.
>>376499987
I think its cool that they are partnering with WotC to release DnD modules officially. Lord knows WotC can't make a decent DnD game anymore.
>>376500116
Quiet day at the market it seems.
>>376503847
Shove your heuristics up your ass. Writing in Divinity games is "lol memes lol popculture". It's distracting, immersion-breaking and lame.
If you're not talking out of your ass and think this is legit good writing, then kys my man.
>>376505530
What heuristics?
>>376505646
>Heuristics are strategies derived from previous experiences with similar problems
>/v/ does this with every RPG. People like to pretend they are professional writers and know better than the people who actually are.
>Never listen to retards on /v/ complaining about 'muh writing'. If anything you should she it a sign that the writing is good.
>>376505749
I suppose you're saying the problem he's trying to solve is "is this /v/ user a fucking idiot" and the heuristic is "if he says the writing is shit, he is one"?
Still a weird usage of the word desu since it's usually used for algorithms and such
>>376505749
That's not how you use that word, amigo
>>376503252
People recreated pool of radiance and baldurs gate in NWN2.
They can probably do Divine Divinity in this aswell.
>>376505530
Does "bad writing", for you personally, mean anything other than dark morally gray fetishization of realism made so "realistic" that it seems unreal?
>>376505749
This fag right here is the type of faggot I am talking about in >>376503847
>>376506179
Yeah, but that was before Unity Engine.
Now all the good modders are indie devs instead.
>>376499987
Well, it's official, D:OS 2 is the closest thing I'll ever get to the 4E strategy RPG with a NWN toolkit and DM mode that I've been desperately wishing would happen for 8 years now.
>>376508553
>not syrup
>not strawberry jam
>not jam and vanilla ice cream
What a waste
>>376508712
corn syrup enriched tasteless fat fuck kys
>>376500020
Is there anyone on this board who didn't like OS1 and isn't hyped for OS2? I mean, Original Sin is the best CRPG since BG2 and the sequel looks even better.
>>376508756
Never tasted corn syrup in my life.
>>376508784
The retard who keeps calling the game Kiddynity while jacking off to PoE, I guess.
>>376508784
I didn't like OS1, but I have played the OS2 Alpha, and with every new update I am more and more hyped for it. The GM mode, especially, but how can they acquire the license to D&D?
When is it coming out?
Which CRPGs are closest to playing a table-top RPG?
I mean besides this and Neverwinter Nights.
>>376499987
When will they finish this game?
>>376509487
Hopefully not any time soon. I hate it when RPGs get rushed out the door unfinished.
>>376509335
Temple of Elemental Evil.
>>376508889
>Kiddynity
That's not even a good insult.
>>376503343
I'm in the same boat in terms of divinity games and i liked D:OS so give it a go mate.
>>376509638
Neither is saying that D:OS has circus music, but it didn't stop him.
I started playing original sin and was enjoying the combat and exploration quite a bit but then I got to a town where I had to go around and talk to people for quests.
The 'humour' of the game falls completely flat, whatever plot that is doesn't interest me at all and the characters are whatever. It's a slog.
I suppose I could just rush through and fight stuff but what's the point in that?
>>376499987
That's great but how about they finish the actual campaign before adding this extra stuff?
>>376509797
The point is that it's fun and that on Tactical mode the game constantly tries to surprise you and keep things fresh.
>>376509719
Thanks for responding to me, reminded me of another very important thing I needed to ask:
Does the intro logo say LA LA LA LARIANNNN?
>>376500290
It's either "some panini" or "a panino". Faggot.
>>376510095
Do you think we speak french you fag
>>376509775
>talking shit about divinitys music
absolutley disgusting
>>376510246
>panino
>French
>>376510789
I don't get it either. I used to play Divinity music when I sat down for fantasy tabletop RPGs and that was well before Divinity 2 existed. Shit set the mood perfectly.
I heard someone say Divinity music
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRzvLrriF1E
>>376499987
damn I am cautiously hyped
>>376500020

>>376503885
Yep sword coast legends was ass
>>376500116
NO ONE HAS AS MANY FRIENDS AS THE MANY WITH MANY CHEESES
>>376511459
What didn't you like about it? It's been on my wishlist for ages because the main complaint people seemed to have was that the combat was more like DA:O instead of using the D&D system, which I am fine with
>>376500020
>hmmm actual video game discussion on a video game board? Not on my watch!
>>376509775
>>376510789
Impugning the memory of Based Kirill. Disgusting, indeed.
>we cant build narrative or stories, we were too lazy to even write characters or plot last game, so dont expect us to do i t this time !
Reminder >>376501439
Do not reply to autistic shill screeching.
As someone who wants to play this when it is out of EA
have they said anything about when they are planning to bring it out of EA?
>>376511893
They are looking for a joint release with Bannerlord and Cyberpunk.
>>376511893
Late 2017 is what they are aiming for. No guarantees obviously
>>376512116
>>376512276
well shit guess i'll be waiting for sometime then
>>376512116
I would just like you to know I grinned at that
