I didn't really drop out but when I finished my software engineering course I played on Jump servers on CS:S and Gmod for about half a year long and after that went on to mechanical engineering. I eventually dropped out of mech.eng 2 years into the study cause it was too much and I just wanted to play battlefield 4 all day long
Now I'm back in compsci and I'm in my 4th year but basically starting to hate working with computers and anything related to it. I don't know what the fuck I'm gonna do once I got my bachelor's degree honestly

I'm surprised I never did. I did tank some grades for TERA, PoE, and Aion though, but in the end if I wasn't playing those games I'd have been randomly procrastinating instead.

I suppose I may have, long ago, dropped out of my math and physics classes in high school because of WoW though. I couldn't be arsed to spend hours doing homework and I thought I was retarded because it was taking me more than the 15 minutes I was used to in elementary and middle school.

The system is fucking awful, but honestly community colleges are generally pretty manageable. Spend a grand or so a semester and a lot of them will offer trade jobs that only take 2 years. Its a drop in the bucket considering the fact you get a decent paying job out of it.

I'm just saying you had more options than spend 15k+ a semester at a 4 year college but you chose to not take them. You can even do certs online through self study, or just make connections in general. It's lame but that's life,
honestly if you don't want to work there's not much other options out there.

Never failed courses, but Warframe alongside doing too many courses at once,
a lousy roommate, and possibly depression definitely didn't help me.
Got my degree since then, and actually had decent grades for the last two years.
I also got roped into Travian one year of high school, and focusing too much on that tanked grades in a few of my classes. No idea why, though, as that game ended up not being fun at all to play.

Failed a course in physiology and immunology because I played WoW on Kronos. To be fair there were numerous factors, but being up late grinding and then skipping class the next day certainly had it's effect. A friend of mine at college (who had massive tuition discounts because his mom was an administrator there, and it was a hella expensive, good private school) was big, BIG into Halo - this was around 2010 - and he stopped going to class to keep his rank up, playing all day. He dropped out midway through junior year. To focus on Halo.

He was in one of the top ten teams in the country and won like $15k at tournaments, except earning 15,000 in two years is actually poverty-level.

Marriage last semester, getting kicked out of my apartment by my butthurt landlord this semester.
It hasn't been a good year for me for academics.
Real answer: I've had shitty grades since middle school due to video games. So most.

The first time I flunked out of college was due to a lack of confidence and depression.

The second time I flunked out was due to the same but also being in a major that was too hard for me.

Third time was a technicality

I finally graduated in 2016.

Almost dropped out after the first year because it was the worst time of my life. I didn't though, now I'm projected to obtain a First, got my highest mark for an essay this week.

Just bought Monster Hunter Generations. Me and my friends had an awesome time with MH4U and we're all going to play it over the summer. I finish university on the 31st.

I have two essays due in for the 18th. Haven't started either yet... so might want to do that.
