Is Skyrim worth playing

unmodded
>>
It's the only way I played, since I had a slim PS3 and my PC still only has Intel HD.

It's okay.
>>
>>376495324
My first 200 hours of Skyrim are unmodded.

But not really. I guess if you never played it before.
>>
>>376495372

you poor soul.

>>376495324

it's too infuriating to play unmodded, why would you want to do that?

if you want the vanilla experience at least get the unofficial patches, cutting room floor and skyui
>>
Yes but like with all the scrolls games once you go modded you don't really go back unless forced usually.

I occasionally still play unmodded Oblivion from time to time but it is basically a sandbox with cheats after like level 20
>>
>>376495324
Only with mods that completely overhaul the game. From visuals to dialogue to quests and areas.
>>
>>376495324
Only if it's your first wrpg.
>>
The funny thing is that you won't know how badly you need mods until a few hours in.
>>
Honestly whats wrong with the game unmodded

is the game just broken or just boring as fuck, all i see is anime and porn mods
>>
>>376495723
It is perfectly alright modded and playable once you hit that certain ''stride'' point.

It's just after a few hundred hours you begin to want more flair into a game.
>>
>>376495324
I would buy a movie about meme!Todd desesperatly wanting to sell his games.
>>
>>376495795
alright modded or undmodded
>>
>>376495723
Its just boring once you realize what the mods are capable of.
>>
>>376495324
I bought it on the PS3 when it came out and played it when it was running like dogshit with a bug that corrupts your save file. Yes actually.
>>
Most of the mods I used were for textures, lighting, and faces.

Then I added a couple gameplay changes like Moonlight Tales.

Then I added UNPBHQBBQ and titty physics.
>>
>>376495915
>tfw have oblivion installed for 10 years just so i don't have to reinstall all the titty and round butt mods
Same goes for Skyrim, but I guess now the Skyrim mods are a bit outdated.
>>
>unmodded
No.
>modded
No.
>>
95% of my hours are unmodded. All I've ever gotten are textures etc because all the talk about game changing mods are either erotic or budget expansions.
>>
>>376496028
the perk mods are totally worth it. goes so much more in depth than vanilla.

this.

ordinator adds so much actual roleplay into skyrim I waited for a port before installing SE (came free from my LE copy I got from humble bundle for 6$)
>>
>>376495723

The default UI is a disaster.

Plus there's dumb shit like vampires teleporting past the constantly-guarded gates to murder the merchants.
>>
>>376495324
vanilla skyrim is okay, i just play with some texture mods and assloads of wep and armor additions.
>>
>>376496153

>four months go by without a fucking word on SKSE64
>"oh it's not done"
>back to eternal non-communication
>>
>>376495324
No, there's gamebreaking bugs that can occur that only the unofficial patch fixes. Mods including the unofficial patch now fucks the save on the remaster version of skyrim, because bethesda is too retarded to fix their game.

Modding skyrim is more fun than playing skyrim.
>first release of skyrim 600 hours just in modding
>remaster release get it for free on steam, because they can't peddle the same game twice
>still requires the same mods to work right
>mods this time around fuck your save and prevents achievements
>2 hours played
>>
>>376495324
... If you've played other Bethesda games and liked them, sure.

Thing with modding is that playing the game vanilla will let you recognise what you want to change and thus modify it to your liking. That's my best argument for unmodded.
>>
>>376496231

The lack of skse64 is unfortunate but luckily ordinator doesn't need it. Begs the question why you quoted me.
>>
>>376495723
>is the game just broken or just boring as fuck
both
>>
>>376496340

Mostly annoyance at how many mods aren't available for SE because the SKSE dev is asleep at the wheel.
>>
What great mods are not functional in the special edition but work in GOTY edition?
>>
>>376496471
SkyUI is a biggie. It was finished years ago and all of the creators are gone too.
>>
>>376496471

SkyUI, which makes me wonder how much fucking feature creep the thing has had over the years since it was released before SKSE was even a thing.
>>
>>376496546
>>376496559
An old version of skyui works and its still a massive improvement over vanilla
>>
>>376496615
I thought the author had removed it or made it private?
>>
>>376495324
No.
>>
>>376495324
Do thieves guild and dark brotherhood and then stop.
>>
>>376495324
How can i play this on steam without steam telling my friends? my profile is private and shit, and I'm in 'appear offline' for a reason. fuck
>>
i really want it to be good
but my favorite game is bloodborne right now and i find skyrim to be a huge disappointment

they don't see your mods anon
>>
I've been replaying Skyrim on the PS3 for reasons. About 15 hours in.

Overall i's a good game, but it lacks unique content. So it becomes very dull unless your engaged by the quests.
>>
>>376496819
kek I know but I don't want them nagging me because they can see I was playing the game and avoiding them
>>
>>376496946
sety your profile to provite, set offline, or unplug your internet.
>>
>>376496946
Sounds like you got some bitch ass, needy friends.
>>
which version of skyrim do I play?
Direct me to a good torrent
>>
>>376495324
This meme is kinda retarded as everyone did buy his game.
>>
>>376497341
I would also like to know. As long as someone can tell me what the latest version number of Skyrim: SE is I'll be able to find it.

I'll only give those kikes at Bethesda money if they actually make a game with depth next time. I'm hoping they learned from Fallout 4, but it's doubtful.
>>
>>376497183
yep. and all I want is a nice gf to play with, not a bunch of nosey assholes

>>

I remember one time I was playing starbound and I was testing out a vore mod but I forgot I had broadcasting enabling and 2 irl friends decided to watch

I still will never forget the ''wtf is this'' in the steam chat
>>
>>376495324
Only once, to experience the original game and grab achievements.
>>
>>376497541
what the fuck is a vore mod
>>
>>376497541
Did you play it off somehow?
"haha I knew you would watch me so I did this to freak you little niggers out"
>>
>>376497603
Vore is a fetish.
>>
>>376495324

Not really. It's a pretty bland game unmodded. You don't have to go balls to the wall but quality of life mods like SkyUI are crucial to being able to enjoy the game. Unmodded the ingame UI was a frustrating mess.
>>
>>376497639
Yeah, I played it off in a way to where I said it was a joke I was going to show them later

haha

the magic especially can get crazy when combined with the spells from Apocalypse
>>

yeah, I don't know why but I like to see girls pee and poop.

p-please don't judge me...

>tfw all the mods in the world couldn't fix it's shitty combat system

You can add mods that can add a few more mechanics or make combat more punishing, but it's still inherently shit.

All the best mods make it into a okay porn game and a good hiking simulator.

Does anyone have a problem with mouse clicking? Left button sometimes doesn't work, wich creates infuriating situations in battles. It drives me crazy.

It can be
>>
>>376499913

if it isn't your mouse then it's too many scripts running.
>>
>>376500550
I see. Fuck it's annoying and I don't want to use gamepad.
>>
>>376495324
Why buy it when I can just take it?
>>
>>376500762
I don't think that would help. IIRC if too many scripts are running at the same time, everything will pretty much lag. Probably due to mods?
>>
>>376496702
I like how Dark Brotherhood had more to do with actually being Dark Brotherhood than Thieves Guild had with being Thieves Guild.
>>
>>376500934
I'm playing a total conversion so yeah, most likely.

You're an idiot. You should've said "Idk just trying out random mods lol"

Skyrim mods don't fix the trash gameplay so it's not worth even pirating
>>
>>376498080
Stuff like ordinator perks+Apocalypse spells are a must for me. Just those two mods add so much to the game.
>>
>>376496742
Crack it.
