Yeah I'm in the same boat, I got memed into buying the game. There are some rather clever "meta" elements, like being able to buy achievements in game, having the GUI elements as individual chips etc... But beyond that there really isn't much to say. There are like 4 different environments reused ad nauseam, the gameplay is meh (in particular the difficulty settings are retarded).

I think I would've been fine if I had bought it for $20 or less, full price gives me buyer's remorse. It also runs like garbage on PC even though it looks like an early PS3 game.

To be honest, I don't like this. I much prefer the idea of Project YoRHa being put in place by the unknown android illuminati that probably stopped giving a fuck a long time ago than some supplementary material exclusive scientist and a crazy prototype 9S.

In the credits for ending E, 042 says "Perhaps we now know that not everything needs to have an answer", and I think that describes the hopeful message of ending E fantastically. The world has become meaningless yeah, and no one really knows why, but thats just fine.

I truly feel like all these supplementary materials are answering so many questions that the quality of the world's lore as a whole is going down. Sometimes it's best to leave things ambiguous.

Number 9 was the single most degraded version of Nines. He killed all his friends, was kicking a badly hurt father figure, stabbed Number 2, and that's before activating the most cruel plan possible.

The whole point of a game is that you can't become a better person and truly achieve something on your own, but only if there's people around you to support you. 2B/9S became better people thanks to their love, then they are joined by Pods forming their self-consciousness and desire to protect their friends, then by players saving them from the worst possible outcome and allowing them to break through the absurd plan set up by Number 9.

While i enjoy a good mindbreak, positiveness of E and post-E scene was really fitting the overall narrative.

I'm really glad I got to try pirate the game before buying it.

I'm not that far into the game but holy shit at that shitty boss camera if your character position yourself badly. I got stuck inside a boss and immediately got hit 3 times while inside the fucking boss, a combination of shitty camera and bosses not having collision is horrible. Auto healing also seemed to stop functioning just when I needed it the most. I also got a bug when I arrived at the moon base and went up the elevator. Somehow the game thought I was up in the elevator and the controls got mixed up with side scrolling and the game thought I was always in a narrow passage.

When that fucker 2S woke me up he fucked with my settings, why the fuck would you put something that dumb in the game?

What the fuck is wrong with the graphics? Did they put the entire gfx team on the characters and completely forgot about environments?
