Oh hell they opened a can of worms with this. Either they will have genuine Egyptians with Nubians as a small minor group consisting primarily of slaves from conquered Nubia. Which will send the "Kangz" and Afrocentrists into a raging fit and basically blow up in their face.

Or they will engage in Afrocentric revisionism, pretty much removing actual mediterranean people from the setting including depending on time frame anything from Phoenecians to Greeks all the way to Roman to cater to that depiction. Which in turn would be historically highly inaccurate while also sending various other groups many of them also "under protection" into a rage.

This is basically a lose - lose proposition for them. This is gonna be good.

AC3 Multiplayer was the fucking BEST
It's a great, unique multiplayer game style that I hope they work on more

It should have stayed dead, the good games were the ones the suits apparently gave zero shits about while the ones they tried to ram the hypetrain into were all garbage.
