Marluxia was -technically- the harder boss, but Hook was such an enourmous pain at a time when your deck either A) Wasn't balanced enough to counteract his enemy card, B) you might not have any of the good enemy cards, or C) you simply were not skilled enough yet to handle his combos and control cards

>if you can't even do that, go demolitionist and shoot him with an RPG
>if you shoot him too many times, he turns red
>if he's red, he only takes 25% normal damage and bum rushes the attacker with his arms up
>hitting his arms only does 20%, so don't bother firing until he closes the gap and puts them down (unless you can aim or it's ZED time)
>if he hits someone while red, he'll go back to yellow and stop raging (unless someone immediately hits the damage threshold again)
>if you're the only person that's currently focusing him, DONT SHOOT HIM. Let the Support or Berserker initiate the fight or notify the team one's coming (it's as easy as typing fp in the chatboxt)

Wasn't as hard as everyone says it is, you just have to use the right weapons.

King Tank: Remote Mine, Lightning Bolt, Magic Card.
King Plane: Spread Drill, Copy Vision.
King: Lightning Bolt
King Robot: Mega Buster, Bass S. Buster

However, the fights might be complicated because you have to alternate weapons to stop certain attacks, for example, that beam attack in King Robot/Plane that you need to destroy before it's fully charged, it can be destroyed easily with the Remote Mine.

Plus, you have lots of upgrades that make your life easier AND infinite lifes in King Stage 2.
