its a pretty decent zelda/god of war clone.
and by zelda clone, it follows the same formula: go to dungeon, find unique item in dungeon, use item on boss.

it's alright for what it is, when it has it's usual very low discount it's worth a buy for sure

combat is fun but can get boring. also the difficulty isn't well set up, some parts are laughably easy and some parts are extremely hard

recently played through it after the announcement for 3, currently playing through 2.

It's pretty fun, I was expecting a God of War clone but it's more like Zelda really. Interesting world and some fun characters, really tight gameplay without a lot of bullcrap, overall I really liked it.

The second game I'm honestly liking less. The movement is really neat and so far I don't have a problem with the fetchquests, but I'm really not liking the RNG loot system and the combat isn't as fun to me. It reminds me of Borderlands more than anything which is odd coming from the first one.

I hope the third game retains the bigger world and sidequests but gets rid of the loot system.

Yes is pretty fun hack and slash zelda-like game with a edgy skin, a pretty solid 7/10 if not average game, the same with darksiders 2

Also Mark Hamill voices a character, so that's pretty cool

The game literally has two Jokers in it. Also Tiamat's actress has done a hefty number of stuff, including lots of secondary WoW voices and even Ivy from Soul Cal.

Im itchingg for them to perfect it, but the first one has godawful pacing.

Story is fun tho.

I like the series a lot, but I'm not blind to its flaws either. It's not going to be the best game you've ever played, or even hit your top 10. But it's very solid. Well worth playing. Good mix of action and puzzles, even though they typically couldn't merge the two together to save their lives. Also, the way Joe Madureira draws basically all of his women gives me a serious throbbing erection. Definitely not a requirement, but worth the price of admission.
