I just wish there were more games.

MK8 is great but I already knew that, it was great on wiiu too. I'm having fun in BOTW, it's my first zelda. They don't really keep me super engaged though. I know this will NEVER EVER happen but I would love a Civ game on switch. It would work so well. I could probably lose myself for days on a switch port of civ.

I was really impressed with the hardware too, Nintendo using USB C for charging is really great, my 3DS was always out of charge because hurp proprietary chargers that don't fit in my power board properly because cunt engineers. I can use my phone charger to charge the switch in a reasonable amount of time, no need for multiple wall warts everywhere.

It really feels like a solid, well made product that I don't feel bad about spending hundreds of dollars on, cf my xbone and ps4 pro that are just plastic boxes.

I love my Switch. It's the most satisfying gaming device I've ever owned. Everything about it (except the kickstand, I suppose) feels so premium and intelligently designed. The engineers really put their all into it, which you can really see when you use it. The UI is also really elegant with satisfying clicks and pops. Even if some cheeky cunt says otherwise, I don't feel like a complete loser owning one because it's so small and unobtrusive. It's a system that allows me to play the games I like, without having to feel like a "gamer."

I only have Zelda and MK8, but I look forward to buying more games in the future.

It is rumored the second one will have an Intel M3 CPU and same size with a 6" or so screen and changes to keyboard and button layout.
SmachZ will be using an AMD APU but is not pocket sized and doesn't have a built in keyboard.

I prefer a clam shell design that easily fits in your pocket, hoping for a similar form factor fanless UMPC with AMD APU, DDR4, NvMe capable of emulation up to PS2 that doesn't turn into a nuclear reactor and lasts a solid 3hours minimum on heavy load.
GPD Win is a nice concept, only use it for light games with the fan off mostly RPGs though and emulate up to PS1/PSP or stream from desktop at home for more demanding games.
For low power consumption android SoC would be most suitable, especially if Microsoft manages to make a decent windows 10 port.

those are the gel guards, the hump in the back makes you unable to use the joycon grip though. it also makes the - button really hard to press because it barely protrudes through the cover. but the joystick caps are still nice

I'm trying to get it just right.

I scalped like 23 of them but i tried one and i just thought that botw is the best game in the series ever, i cant even look at the wind waker the same way.

It's quickly become my preferred platform of choice for roguelite games and most indie games.
I appreciate portability and having a way to play local multiplayer without needing to buy an additional controller, console or even needing a TV is great.
