I never got the general consensus that Scrappy was shit, unless people meant the live action movie one. The spin-off with Scooby and Scrappy was better than the main series. Cozy and comfy as fuck.

For me, I never minded him when I was a child. It wasn't until a few years ago when I saw an overwhelming percent of people I talked to say they hated him. I didn't realize why until I liked back at SC and realized he was the cause of a good amount of problems with the gang, and I just generally found him annoying. There's a difference of being a sheep not thinking for yourself versus listening to an opinion and making or changing one of your own once a good time has passed. If you didn't find Scrappy a bad character I'm not saying that's bad. I am still fond of Jarjar despite understading how he altered the dynamic of Star Wars in PM.

Athena's character is ok but she does absolutely nothing and gets carried on every case she takes.
