Stopping shit like this is the only good thing about lack of unlockables in Smash nowadays. Seriously, Smash 4 only had 6 (SIX) unlockable characters. It felt so barren.

I just hope in Smash 5 that the roster is limited to the bare minimum, and I mean emphatically bare, and you have to unlock every character. There should also be a code to just unlock everything from the beginning that you get after unlocking every character and stage, that way you don't have to earn everything back again should you need to set up an entirely new console (like for tourneys).

Imagine how magical it would be unlocking 50+ characters and finding out if your favorites really got in. It would be like Smash 64 and Melee all over again. Plus, it would take longer for everyone to find and figure out everything, giving the game more longevity.

A few weeks ago a save editor appeared and people found items that we knew existed but had bugged droprates. Presumably you can also spawn other cut items we didn't know about, but it's trial and error with finding them. Tier 3 guidance was as easy as Tier 2 Guidance +1 on the code.
