what makes TF2 great?

player expression and good maps

the incredible amount of work valve dedicates to the game

Very moddable
Perfect mix of old-school and new-school FPS
Huge amounts of maps/gamemodes/unlockables and their combinations
Always something to get better at (rocket/sticky jumping, damage surfing)
Can still easily get into a game even thoughthe game is almost 10 years old
Runs well even on older machines
Very good characters
and all kinds of other things that i can't mention on top of my head

the basic gameplay like moving and shooting feels fun and has things like weight and momentum that make it satisfying, unlike certain other products on the market

I don't like the game like I used to anymore. At first I enjoyed it, but it just got boring after a while. Spy was alright though.

imo they changed Spy enough to make him fun again. Was the same as you but loving the new Spy. They even made Big Earner useful.

lack of updates

Stopped playing when I realized they weren't going to release The Pyro Update any time soon after that disappointing as hell Heavy vs Pyro update

guess I should have named this thread "what makes TF2 one of the best of all time"
