It's weird, I have tons of things I could be doing if I wasn't distracted by the internet, but when it suddenly goes down and I have no clue when it will be up again, it's really fucking hard to want to do anything other than just refresh over and over. Scheduled downtime is fine, but when I get interrupted from something it's impossible to keep my mind off it, even if it was nothing important.

If the internet goes out, I have a ton of books saved on my computer, so it's going to be lots of reading if I don't feel like playing offline games.
If the power goes out, it's a good time to take a walk.

I don't have the figures with me any more, but the approximate calculations were that If I spent an hour or so a day sorting all the files I've downloaded into 6 different folder categories, it would approximately take me 3-4 years to complete.
