Finally got around to playing episode 3 and 4. All I gotta say is holy shit is this their worst game after Game of Thrones?

Is it just me? I feel that events, motivations and behaviours don't make a lick of sense and borderline random. Javi is supposed to care about so many things, his brother's wife, Mariana's death, Gabe, Clementine, Tripp's love life, jealous brother, saving Richmond. I as the player only care about Clem though and that's the absolute worst as that just boils down to getting cucked by Gabe.

The explanation for the period scene was it was tying a bunch of character and plot themes together. Namely, puberty and Javi having to be a father-figure. He's been dealing with Gabe's teen angst all season and Clem's been aging over the seasons. I'm baffled why people thought this scene was out of place, when it was beating you over the head with the themes laid out in Ep1. Actually, I'm not baffled, it was all just knee-jerk disgust at the very mention of menstruation.
