bfme2 was alright, but bfme1 has its own identity. its campaign was 1000 times better than bfme2, and playing the battles from the movie in rts format was fucking cool.

bfme2 towed the line and became a more standard rts, but it was still good. hugo weaving voicing elrond in the short campaign was cool.

I feel like moving away from a fixed point fortification removed that original sense of accomplishment. Building a fortress took time and the battles to overtake any felt grand. I appreciation though bigger armies of Bfme 2 as they added more wargame variety but in the end fortifications became more the same between factions.

Idk if this game is easy or difficult.

fighting the demon on the cover was extremely intense when I was a kid. and I couldn't beat this one part at helms deep so I never beat the game.

I emulated it recently and it wasn't difficult at all... maybe I just understand games better. haven't gotten to the demon yet though.

I game that got me grounded for staying up playing past my bed time as a teenager. Also babby's first turn based RPG and LotR lore rape.

I play with my gf. it's not the best lego game and I love lotr. if you're a sucker for the movies? go ahead. I wish they were more creative with the license and did their own thing...but it's hard to blame them for piggybacking on the movies since they did so well.

They could only use stuff explicitly featured in the movies since it was made using the movie license, so I'm not sure what lore it is they raped from the Peter Jackson movies.
