Did anybody else save their Reach screenshots? I didn't touch Reach for years but then a few months ago went to the Halo website and looked at old screenshots, then saved my 2 favorite screenshots that I took in that game.

NOBLE Team literally had the same armor that Spartan IIs had. Most IIIs used SPI because it was cheaper (MJOLNR is fucking is expensive). The only difference between Chief's armor and NOBLE Team's is that Chief's supported an AI slot since it was the second generation of Mark V.
The augmentations the IIIs got were as good as and safer than the ones the IIs got. The reason they died more was because SPI is shit compared to MJOLNR, and they were sent on suicide missions. Hell, NOBLE 6 was rated as good as Master Chief in the Reach trailers.

I loved Del Rio as a character. He really portrayed the Nu-UNSC vibe. He looked at the Spartans as a tool that had become obsolete in comparison to the 4s. His job was to get his ship away from Requiem first and foremost, and that's what he tried to do.

And that scene with him yelling at chief was so good. It not only demonstrated Chief's loyalty to Cortana over the UNSC, but also Del Rio's dedication to protocal and his complete lack of understanding of the bigger picture.

I believe The Thursday War said that he was merely chosen because he followed orders but he wasn't any sort of hero. He didn't inspire his men, he commanded them. He was a pawn under the UNSC while Laskey and John were people who saw their duty past the rule book.
