Goku (and maybe Vegeta) is the only Z warrior that can NOT defeat Superman for the following reasons.

1. Tendency to hold back his true power, Superman has a high chance of killing Goku easily even he doesn't fight with his full strength from the beginning

2. Would refuse to exploit Superman's weaknesses because he prefers fighting their opponents at their best and since Superman has no limits to his power, Goku is setting himself up for defeat

3. In a battle to the death scenario, Adult Goku is too good natured to kill anyone unless they were a threat to his friends and the earth and Superman has no malicious intentions
