I agree OP, this year has been fucking phenomenal for video games to me. Although I never ascribed to the "waa video games are dead because I'm a jaded pansy that refuses to broaden my horizons" that /v/irgins obsess over, my interest in the hobby had waned a bit but this year has been great. I just wish I enjoyed BotW as much as others did. It had great mechanics and a very good core. The poor level design really let it down for me. Wish the open world meme would die already.

The dodging was bad because he went straight up and a little to the right and left only to just plant his feet on the ground as if he never moved. At least other Zelda's he kept moving after landing instead of "ok I landed now".

I wanted to love this game so much but they just fucked it up in every way possible and fucking blind meat guzzling fanboys defend it like nothings wrong. And Nintendo only sees the shitter fanboys. None of the problems are going to be fixed Zelda's a dead franchise.

The level design is shit and ugly, there's no enemy variety, the story's shit, the loot system is a chore. There's just so much wrong with it.

I thought it might be better than the alphas, but they literally blew all their content on them.
There are far too few enemies and they just get easier the more you play the game. It's a crock.
