- battles lack of impact. Never seen a game having such silent, unimpressive explosions and battle animation, you often die silently.
- the areas are too small and too packed with bases and monsters. They promised a new land to conquer, but it's packed like Disneyland
- pve is boring and unrewarding with the shitty "if you finish that instance and get its loot, you will be able to do THAT instance and get its loot, so you can make that OTHER instance.

Their main content was a buggy mess, but they still insisted to push out new buggy content while not fixing anything. Classes were really unbalanced, and patches took way too long to come out. Raid attunement system was a complete shitshow.

That really bothered me as well. There was no weight behind attacks, and very little reaction from the target. LARPers have more impact in their battles with foam weapons.

pvp was a broken, bot infested mess since day 1

endgame 'attunement' was too difficult for 90% of the playerbase

carries through attunement were pointless, because the endgame content was also too difficult or 90% of the playerbase

world bosses were buggy messes that constantly reset, ruining the experience

The PvE progression was awful. Having to do those terrible expeditions to get mediocre gear was painful. Especially the one that is like an hour long escort quest. Could have really benefited from some WoW style dungeons that actually gave rewarding loot.

PvP was alright but kind of a spam fest and not balanced. Also the battleground maps just weren't very fun. World PvP while leveling was ruined by the massive penalties for level differences.

The Housing was actually really good, probably the best feature of the game. Built jumping puzzles in my house and it was lots of fun.

They started out thinking they could survive on a monthly subscription model when even WoW was losing numbers at that time. Had they started out F2P with a cosmetics cash shop, I have no doubt they'd have carved themselves out a nice little profitable niche.
