Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain is the only recent game I can say that I really pity EOPs for not being able to play (and likely never ever being able to play)

Have you guys tried Kanji Damage? Reading its intro page and doing a little bit of it got me into kanji. It's still really difficult, but I find I've developed a natural curiosity about it and have memorized at least 200 but closer to 300.
