That's kinda the point visually and story wise, the final ayy boss in the game is something quite close to a human being, and despite being a newborn, it looks decrepit as if it was an old man., its all about that contrast of human/alien, young/old and plainlooking/hiddenlypowerful

gameplay wise we all know it's because the best fights in these games are humanoid ones since they are easier to make good so they wanted an excuse to have him being a humanoid so they could build a decent final boss and not another disappointing ayylien fight

That's the point. He isn't evil. He hasn't done anything wrong. He doesn't even want to kill you, you have to approach him before he attacks. He is the result of a legacy that destroyed a village and brought an end to the old hunters, and yet the only reason you have to kill him is your own sense of mercy. It's some top-tier kino.

Best technique is to buy one or two of those shaman blade items (or whatever they're called)

They make enemies go into a frenzy and attack each other. Fight the first one until the second drops down and then hit one with that blade, they'll fight and one will die quite quickly and the other will have lost a bit of health.

Still hard as fuck but easier than fighting 2v1
