Just finished up a comfy session of DOAX3. Got Nyo to finally accept a dangerous ticket. Pretty bummed that it wasn't one time buy permaunlockable sorta thing. Guess I have my work cut out for me. To top it off, I managed to gift her pistachio and the "V" bikini to put an exclamation point on my first vacation with her. Idk why Nyo is the only character I dress with the slag outfits. It just makes sense.

Doing well, playing some Overwatch.

I had never tried Junkrat until yesterday and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. He's just fun to play.

Necrodancer. It was my 2015 GOTY but I still haven't beaten Aria's story nor have I even completed the deathless nor speed demon achievements - let alone all zones with gimmick characters.

I'll probably never have it in me to complete all zones mode with the gimmick characters, but at the very least I'm determined to clear Aria's story and get the speed demon (Cadence all-zones in under 15 minutes) and deathless (10 Cadence all-zones wins in a row without dying) achievements. It feels wrong to call it my GOTY yet be so shit at the game.

Speed demon is killing me though. I'm terrible at the penalty rooms for using trapdoors to descend rather than stairs.

Finished DOOM for the second time but on Nightmare. Got Outlast 2 to turn my brain off and play later. Maybe I'll start REmake. Too tired to sit on my PC and play F.E.A.R, I prefer couch & controller.

Self-sufficiency.

Realize that happiness is something that depends entirely on you and that you don't actually need anyone else for it. Relationship are just a bonus, something nice to have on the side, but if you can't be happy by yourself and have no hobbies or goals, then you won't be happy in a group either.

That with a heavy dose of danger to regain your sense of mortality every once in a while and help you feel alive again.

It reads as if you're saying someone needs to find happiness by themselves without any hobbies or goals - and if they can't do that then they can't be happy in a group either

I can understand the alone/group part but I don't understand why you brought hobbies/goals into it, and why you speak of them as if you need to be able to be happy without them

Because some people can become happy without any goals or hobbies. That's why I included them.

So your options are either
1.Become happy from the inside with meditation/reflection/whatever.
or
2. Become happy from the outside with goals/hobbies.

If you can't become happy by yourself AND you don't have hobbies and goals (only one of the two is enough, but if you don't have either of them), THEN you won't find happiness in a group either.

If you know programming then just resume the sentence to if(happyAlone || hasHobbies) then happiness = true;
