I modded mine, its easy and pretty safe.
Stopped pirating (and generally playing) because of the storage limitations.
Its no fun shuffling around games all the time.

You can pirate games and use homebrew apps but the trade-off seems to be that it limits the device's online capabilities.

spoofing is currently available. you can go online and play games. not sure how long it will last forever, but if you ever want to change back you only need to format your card(or just restart. henkaku requires you install it each time you reboot. the reason you leave it in stand-by mode)

every unopened pstv is on firmware 3.60 or lower. forgot the exact # of mine, but it didn't matter because I was sub 3.60 and still able to install henkaku.

this is true for the NA version, tho. I can't confirm if this is true for the japanese one, so it would be wise to research if you plan on getting the nip one.

what's the point of a vita tv? if you're gonna have to be glued to the tv might as well just get a ps4 as it has all the superior ports of most vita games.
I like my vita because of it's portability even if graphics end up being shittier than their console counterpart.
Also because I'm not an autistic spaz. Like seriously do you need to have more than 10 games available at all times? why not beat those games first instead of having a huge backlog of dozens of games you only played for 10 mins? That's more like a gaming collection obsession than wanting to play videogames

I got a ps1 emulator on my hacked ps3, I googled the best ps1 games of all time, I downloaded them all. Played them for a bit each and deleted all that shit. It's all unplayable with awful controls and even worse graphics.

we weren't at that stage yet where we needed to move and control the camera independently of each other
