Checked out a bit of it. OP is clearly just drumming shit up because that's the only major lol so wacky line I've seen. Most of the lives are fairly well delivered, especially with what they're given from gaiden's extremely limited characterization. Perfect bait for /v/ though.

Supports are back to the C-A setup and are progressed on the battlefield similarly to GBA games. However instead of progressing by standing directly next to each other every turn, you now build support by performing any actions within three spaces of the support candidate. However, certain ranks with each pairing will require you to reach certain parts of the story before you can unlock them, so you won't be grinding them out too quickly.

Also child units are gone, so no need to worry about optimal pairings for genetics.
