Which version should I play first ? Persona 3 FES or P3P ?

then do portable and play as a girl for a second run

FES. P3P has the female route and controllable party members/fast travel, but they cut out a shitload of stuff and doesn't even include the epilogue, in addition to looking far worse.

If you're playing both? Then play FES first, and then P3P. Going back to FES after being able to control your party member sounds shitty, and plus P3P has the fem route member so the second time will be a bit more interesting.

If you only had to pick one though I'd suggest P3P.

If you've played Persona 4 Golden or Persona 5: P3P

Direct control and fast travel is not worth giving up for some videos that can be seen on YouTube. That's right, no pressing square to jump to another area.
