Archer is OP like Skyrim. I'd go as far as to say even more OP, but it's been a while since I've played.

You don't have a PC good enough to run an 11 year old game? I played it on a fucking Pentium 4 first time around. Oblivion really benefits from mods since its level scaling is completely fucked out of the box.

I think the console version's fine, but I love vanilla oblivion
It sucks that the game of the year edition only comes with shivering isles, which is great, but you miss out on some cool bases for your character
I think high elf is the best; bigger mana pool and slightly faster walking speed
Stealth archery is still broken, but not as ridiculous as it was in skyrim
Both destruction and conjugation are fun. I'd use both

This game is a complete mess but I think it's a lot of fun

Maybe in 2006, but I love this game and I would struggle to go back to vanilla oblivion on a console
