"Hot Topicy" is pretty meaningless, and the game has about as much in common with Tim Burton as Johnny Depp has with Gene Wilder. You're going to have to get more specific.

The actual game doesn't really look like hot topic except maybe the final bosses. Certainly not Tim Burton-esque at any point. Undertale barely feels like it has an artstyle at all.
