Is melee even viable in the originals? It has completely different balance compared to todd's games aka tes:fallout.

do you have any Mentats on you? It will raise your INT to intelligible levels which lets you access computers, you can kill the president to get his access card which gives you control over the turrets.

Take any psycho and jet that you can so you have more action points. How the fuck did you get this far with only 3 action points jesus christ.

There's Killap's restoration patch.

Sure. They don't have many weapon choices, but it's perfectly doable. If you want a decent early weapon, you can steal Spiked Knuckles from one of the Dunton brothers in Klamath.

Remember that unarmed characters get better attacks with their bare fists as long as they have the required strength and agility. E.g. with brass knuckles you do 2-5 damage, but with 55% unarmed and 6 agility you can do a Strong Punch with your bare fists, which does 4-7 damage.
