I'd need full, clean screenshots to truly compare, but I actually prefer some of the stuff on the right to some of the stuff on the left.
Either way, only Axiom Verge and Hotline Miami have anywhere near questionable pixel art. However, Axiom Verge can put great detail into the bigger objects, and Hotline Miami's overall style still makes it a treat for the eyes.
