How do I improve my puyo game? I can get the stair combo that they teach you semi-decently, but I have a feeling that won't cut it for long, how do I build on that?

Anyone else feel like puyo is much stronger than tetris in vs mode. its much easier to pop a bunch of puyo than getting a tetris and when you pop puyos you cancel out whatever tetris your enemy may have just gotten.

As for ぷよぷ, it's very different in execution but has a compatible competitive spirit. It's combo-based: you build a wall and watch it combo the fuck out and it's pretty satisfying. The core gameplay hasn't changed much so emulate that shit and decide for yourself if it catches your eye.
