I'm still confused about how it happened.

TF2 pubs are really, really, really easy to stomp. I'd just go random and my amazing ability to run away when I need to and actually aim would make me by far the top scorer, as 99% of the people who play it will chase you around corners as medic and run into a pre-fired round of medgun shots and die or into a small room v soldier.
It actually led to me stopping playing despite loving the game after the MyM update as it turned off autobalance then added it back but made it optional, which means soon enough even tho' I'm on random half the enemy team quit and no one else wants to switch. It doesn't feel like a team game or even a fun game anymore

I remember dirty bomb being the same. Nobody would ever try to work the objective properly, even though it was the only way to win.

I have so many that it is hard to say.
Basically whenever I play pharah in QP and I go up against people who haven't even played competitive yet. I'm top 11k pharah player according to overbuff.

I recently had a match where I die capping first point on Dorado during overtime (in second round, so legit overtime, no time added), and then watch the rest of my team be too impatient to wait for the door to open and just start rushing the enemy team, all at once, and the round ends.

Let me state this again: It doesn't matter how many kills you get if the rest of your team is dying due to little team support. One opposing Widowmaker or Soldier can dump on an entire team if there's no tanks, for example. If you somehow kept getting kills without dying but still lost, that just means you poked at the enemy forever, getting one or two meaningless kills every time. I sat on the for the entire round. Had a Winston, Roadhog, Reinhardt as tanks. For healers, had Mercy and Ana. Any motherfucker that tried to dive me or the healers got rekt by the Winston or Roadhog.

But it is. Removing one member is like removing a portion of a teams effectiveness at a role for a few seconds. Assuming 2/2/2 removing any team member reduces output significantly and even more based on skill level. If you team cannot handle the crippled opposing team with that deficit it was not on the player with elims. The only time this is not 100% true is for a situation where time is against you where the priority of certain targets can have a change of the outcome of a match. Simple geometry.
